Welcome to
The Poetry Glitch!!!
This being my very first post, I wanted to make it an introduction of myself and this blog to you.
I am Uzonna Okoyenta , a Nigerian teenager with a flair for writing, arguing, blogging and all things literary. I am also a natural hair enthusiast, with a YouTube channel, coming to you very soon. Anticipate!
I have always wanted to start a blog surrounding my interests which is mainly writing. I have a special spot for writing Prose and Poetry. At a time when I was in a really bad place- Let’s put it like that- I began to exert my energy into poetry. I really loved what I wrote and thought it would be a great idea to share my creativity with an audience and thus the idea of a poetry blog was formed.
The title of the blog The Poetry Glitch came up as a means of expressing to my audience the fact that the Poetry glitch will not only be about poetry as the name implies.
A glitch is said to be an error. So The Poetry Glitch simply means an error in poetry. Poetry on a norm does not include explaining your poem, but my poetry will surround around a subject and explain. I hope to pass some positivity around me with my poems, and this is what inspired the title of this blog.
Aside from containing my poetry, The Poetry Glitch will also serve as a medium of creating awareness among literary enthusiasts on upcoming competitions that involve all genres of literature. There will certainly be Book Reviews on both published and unpublished book as well as good recommendations for books on reading sites.
I also aim to center on a unique topic weekly, which I believe will be relatable to some. So Yes, there will be random but relatable posts and you are welcome to suggest the next topic.
I hope you all can find a safe haven in The Poetry Glitch, a blog where you can share your opinions, feel freely, write freely and maybe just smile.
If it is no bother at all, then you can just subscribe. I have made subscription easy with a popup widget.

xoxo ;-)
